Rotten Tourist
Hi all,
Here is my submission for Micheal Defeo's contest at Sketchoholic. It's probably the most complex thing that I've ever done in term of composition... phew.. I hope it shows. Any feedback are welcome. What do you see in the story.. Do you think it's clear?
The theme this time is a 'Classical Sculpture'.
Wish me luck! :)
Update: Slightly adjusted the line colour of the family group in the bg. It was a tiny bit too dark before..
Update 2: Played with the colour and saturation a bit more to pop the main guy and statue from the background - just a tiny bit.. but i hope it helps. This image is a tricky one.. Thanks, Carrie :)

Really really funny. Composition totally works, the eye travels through the picture nicely.
Thank you very much, Katia :D
I love this! It's so funny because I have seen people in action doing this.
That's too funny. It reminds me a bit of Peter de Seve too!!
Like a scene from a movie, so full of life. Great job, man!
I could stare at this for hours, lost in the expressions of the people.
Again, awesome :D This totally needs to see print. Would look good in any book, on any wall.
very cool and entertaining, like how there are many different characters showing personality in one shot.
I love the composition, the way the sword follows through to the camera, great work indeed
I like the concept and idea behind the piece I found it very funny.
Uhh, I would've liked it more if you played around with the colors maybe making the statue pop more from the background..
but yeah.. awesome work as always! hope you win again :))
Thanks a lot for the support, feedback and kind words, guys. Really appreciate it :)
