Journey to be a better artist and storyteller...
A quick digital paint for Austin Madison's Chades Challenge. The topic is: CLAUSTROPHOBIC ELMO IN AN ELEVATOR FULL OF TROLLS.Quite a literal one this time but I hope you like it :)
Well, I'm not sure if there was much room (lol) for a very specific topic as "CLAUSTROPHOBIC ELMO IN AN ELEVATOR FULL OF TROLLS". But there's always ways to be surreal lol.Anyway, it's a lovely speed painting, and I think I like the most his usual smile but with an expression that shows he's frozen from panic. He might be singing a song in his head to not faint, or he fainted with eyes wide open haha.Too many thoughts about elmo's possible... thoughts, ahm, couldn't think of other word haha. Thanks for sharing Charles! :D
For me what makes this painting is Elmo's expression - great piece, Charles!
I hear trolls have a lot of gas, too. And if just one troll is a prankster, he might try pushing every floor button, just for a laugh. Can you hold your breath that long???
Dude! This is friggin awesome!
Pat: Hahaha.. thanks for mentioning his expression, Pat. I did put a specific attention to it :) Glad you like it.Toby: Thanks, Toby! :DMauricio: Thank you!Ted: bwahahaha! XDJez: Thanks, man :)
haha -awesome one Charles! I love how there's always a concept behind your illustrations and not all about the technique or rendering. Definitely pushes me to think more about my own work. Are you still doing a book? I wants!
Haha, the Elmo's facial expression is priceless!!Wish I could rescue him!Very much like this piece :)Cheers,Junko
Ha, love the troll with the phone in the back :D
