Home is Where the Mind is

Happy 2012, everyone! I'm going to start the new year with a drawing that was done for the Drawing Dreams Foundation's upcoming charity auction.

It'll be will be held at the Society of Illustrators, NYC on January 19th. Proceeds from the auction will go towards purchasing wholesale art supplies to hospitalized children.

I'll post more details about the event soon.

Great piece, I also dig your idea sketches for it.
I also finally finished mine and sent it to Drawing Dreams. I was told that the event has been re-scheduled to March.

Hoping the year of 2012 has been treating you well so far.
