For Ralph

My buddy at work, Jerome Moo asked me to contribute to an event to honor Ralph McQuarrie (a legendary concept artist of original Star Wars movies). As a fan of the movies (and of course the design), I was more than happy to jump in. My first reaction was to make Darth Vader image.. but as time went by, I changed my idea into something hopefully more personal, I wanted to show how the movies and Ralph designs have opened up people imaginations and brought some sparks in their life (this was certainly the case to me).

Farewell Ralph,
Thanks for the inspirations...

I SOOOO see my son in your drawing! And I guess my husband was like that too when he was young. It's the perfect tribute!

Are you still going to do a Darth Vader drawing anyway? Might as well as I believe you had a few ideas on the go.
