Thanks, Gee! Umm.. it's varied.. getting good ideas always take the longest time for me these days. For this piece, I spent around 2-3 hours to create the image (not including thinking time). :)
what happens during the thinking time? Sketching? or looking for inspiration? :o

Debbie: Happy New year! :D Regarding thinking time.. umm.. combination between sketching, watching TV, looking at books, blogs and websites.. and this might sound strange.. sleeping! :D I'm still trying to find the most effective one though :)

This piece here just screams children's book to me - any plans? I really like the flat, graphic look and the bright colors. It is indeed very different from your other works.
